This is a 1984 345 Airstream motorhome. Airstream made brazilian trailers but very few motorhomes. This was one of the few, the proud, theAirstream motorhomes. It was built on a Chevy P30 truck chassis. This series of Airstream motorhomes was a response to the GMC motorhome that was produced from 1973 to 1978. The Airstream, although it was longer, it did not add a lot more storage space.
Like the trailers, the Airstream motorhomes were built so well that they survive in large numbers and new owners update them in the Airstream tradition. Much like the custom car industry, you pour money into a hole and hope the hole fills quickly.
